Calamities

In Bible, Mark of the Beast, Prophecy, Spirit of Prophecy, Sunday Law, The End, The Last Days on April 21, 2010 at 2:30 am

I recieved this email.

On March 7, 2009 Pastor David Wilkerson, founder of World Challenge, Inc., issued a warning to everyone on his mailing list that “An earth-shattering calamity is about to happen. It is going to be so frightening, we are all going to tremble – even the godliest among us.” Pastor Wilkerson went on to describe blazing fires and riots in “major cities all across America.” His post closed with the solemn words, “I do not know when these things will come to pass, but I know it is not far off. I have unburdened my soul to you. Do with the message as you choose.”

You can read Paster Wilkerson’s original article here.

You can read the books Last Day Events (including chapter on the Loud Cry) and The Great Controversy for more Inspired word of Ellen White on  end time events.

Prophecy of Cold War Victor

In Bible, Prophecies, Prophecy, Spirit of Prophecy, The End on April 4, 2010 at 2:00 am

Read this and then thinkHow could this be true?

By Louis F. Were,

Written in 1950.

ROME WILL CONQUER MOSCOW AND WASHINGTON!

“Both the Vatican and the Kremlin are striving for world domination. Seventh-day Adventists, who are guided by the prophecies of God’s Word and light from the Spirit of Prophecy, know the outcome. The prophetic finger points to Rome and Europe, backed by the mighty power of Protestant America as the dominating world powers until the very last hours of earthly history.”

Revelation 17

In Bible, Prophecies, Prophecy, The End, The Last Days on January 31, 2010 at 5:42 am

Revelation 17:1 “And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:”

1 Chronicles 5:25  tells us that a whore is a church that is involved in idolatry and other sins against God.“And they transgressed against the God of their fathers, and went a whoring after the gods of the people of the land, whom God destroyed before them.”

Jeremiah 3:6 “The LORD said also unto me in the days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen that which backsliding Israel hath done? she is gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there hath played the harlot.

Revelation 17:2 “With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.”

Revelation shows that all the world is involved in a fornication. A situation when a man and a woman who are not married are involved in intimate relations. This is what Daniel 2 was showing us. The Church and the State mingling their seed together, a  relationship that is not approved of by God. We read in Revelation 17 that when this happens they (the kingdom of 10) make war with Jesus and His people.

The Outline – Understanding Daniel 2

In Confederacy, Daniel, Prophecies, Revelation, The End, The Last Days, Time of the End on November 15, 2009 at 1:54 am

If you have never studied Daniel 2 before than you are in for an amazing proof of the validity of the Bible. This validity comes from an understanding that the Bible includes prophecy of events that were future to the time they were written. If you have studied Daniel 2 before you are in for a brain exercise to re-examine the Word of God in a systematic will the will challenge the assumptions that we hold of this amazing prophetic passage. Either way, be prayerful, have your  notebook ready and get into a comfortable work place with a big glass of water, this may get intense.

Daniel’s Prophecies: Fulfilled and Fulfilling Chart

First we will establish some basic principle understanding.

Daniel’s prophecies are meant for the last days.

“As we near the close of this world’s history, the prophecies recorded by Daniel demand our special attention, as they relate to the very time in which we are living. With them should be linked the teachings of the last book of the New Testament Scriptures. Satan has led many to believe that the prophetic portions of the writings of Daniel and of John the revelator cannot be understood. But the promise is plain that special blessing will accompany the study of these prophecies. Read the rest of this entry »

Childbearing In the Last Days

Often we are asked whether or not we have children and when we answer no we are often asked when we are planning to have children. When we answer that we are not we are encouraged to have children or questioned why we have made this decision. I know that there are many people who unable to bear children, there must be many like us who have not tried to and are also bombarded with curious and sometimes unthoughtful questions. This study is not just for you (however, you may find it very helpful,) but also to those thinking of having children.

This is a very serious and can be a sensitive issue so first let me make it clear that I do like children. I very much enjoy babies. I find them to be amazing and awesome miracles. However, I realize that they do not stay babies and they are people who are in a battle for their souls as all of us are. I know that we must as with all things in our life consider the councils that God has given us in regards to beginning a lifelong joy and responsibility of child bearing in the last days.

This Day in History: August 11, 1840

In 9/11, Prophecies, Prophecy on August 11, 2009 at 9:19 pm

Have you ever wondered about Islam in the Bible? Or if Revelation is a literal book, containing literal events? Or how the Seventh-day Adventist Church got started?

This day in history is pivotal to all those questions.

“Dr. Josiah Litch, a 19th Century physician and itinerant minister for the Methodist Episcopal Church, accurately predicted two years in advance, the fall of the Ottoman Empire in August of 1840 (a formidable alliance of Arab nations governed from Turkey). This was an exact fulfillment of Bible prophecy in “Revelation” chapter nine. Continuing his research, two months before the event he predicted the exact day, August 11, 1840, and it was widely circulated in Christian journals and newspapers.” Read Josiah Litch’s Article Here.

Prophecy: Is it difficult to understand?

In Bible, Prophecy, Spirit of Prophecy, The Last Days on August 9, 2009 at 1:34 am

Well some say that they have a difficult time but we know that God gives wisdom to all men, if they ask. We also have the assurance that it is Christ (Rev 5) who unseals that Bible to our understanding. So as history goes by the more we will understand.

There are some important understanding that we can get from the Bible (which interprets itself) that helps us to understand things more easily.

Here is a link to some notes of 24 Prophecy Concepts, that I think are great and vital helps.

The Old Testament Prophecies

In Bible, Daniel, Prophecy, The Last Days on July 19, 2009 at 4:51 am

God gives what we need. For us to have the Old Testament preserved for so many millennia means it is vital to our spiritual lives.

The more I go over the book so rarely heard about, the more I glean for my experience. The Bible is a prophectical book. The Old Testament is full of prophecies for the last days. This means that the Old Testament tells us what is to happen as well as what has happened.

Test it for yourself. Pray for guidance, study, listen and read it over and over until you understand the language better. Use the KJV, if you do not understand everyhthing look it up in a dictionary… but STUDY.

Here are a couple quotes to get you started. Read the rest of this entry »
