Music: Biblical Understanding

Daniel 3:3-6

Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up. Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages, That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up: And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.

Music

If in the last days we will be faced with this scene, and God has seen fit to show us that music will be involved. It is our responsiblilty to learn what God is showing us. To allow you to take the time to learn more about music from a biblical standpoint, I hve made a new page called music with a seminar called; Voices of a Dying Planet. Please look at this simple Bible Study on drums from the Bible, entitled “Are Drums suitable to worship God?“.

I found this seminar to be logical, biblical, and simple. Listen with a prayerful, open mind, and check all the quotes and scriptures out yourself. You will come away with a larger understanding of what music is, how it can be used, and biblical principles to use to make decision about music in your own life.
