The Old Testament Prophecies

In Bible, Daniel, Prophecy, The Last Days on July 19, 2009 at 4:51 am

God gives what we need. For us to have the Old Testament preserved for so many millennia means it is vital to our spiritual lives.

The more I go over the book so rarely heard about, the more I glean for my experience. The Bible is a prophectical book. The Old Testament is full of prophecies for the last days. This means that the Old Testament tells us what is to happen as well as what has happened.

Test it for yourself. Pray for guidance, study, listen and read it over and over until you understand the language better. Use the KJV, if you do not understand everyhthing look it up in a dictionary… but STUDY.

Here are a couple quotes to get you started.

A Test of Gratitude and Loyalty

“Consider the prophecy of Malachi in connection with Daniel, Zephaniah, Haggai, and Zechariah. Let the teaching of these books be carefully investigated, also the building of the temple, and the temple service. Through the prophets, God has given a delineation of what will come to pass in the last days of this earth’s history; and the Jewish economy is full of instruction for us.” {The Watchman, October 9, 1906, paragraph 4}

The Cities

[Habakkuk 2:1-20; Zephaniah 1:1-3:20; Zechariah 1:1-4:14; Malachi 1:1-4, quoted.] These scenes will soon be witnessed, just as they are clearly described. I present these wonderful statements from the Scriptures for the consideration of everyone. The prophecies recorded in the Old Testament are the word of the Lord for the last days, and will be fulfilled as surely as we have seen the desolation of San Francisco.–Letter 154, May 26, 1906.
